Possible Finance

This self-initiated project was created as an appreciation for Possible Finance. It is a non-commissioned piece designed to showcase my skills in concept development, design, and motion graphics. By researching Possible’s brand, online presence, and mission, I crafted creative to celebrate their strong visual identity and highlight their impact.

Purpose:

This is a personal appreciation project created for Possible Finance. It was not a commissioned project; rather, it was developed to express genuine admiration for the company’s mission and impact and showcase relevant skill sets. To build this project, I conducted a deep dive into Possible’s brand identity, online presence, and relevant industry milestones. I was truly inspired by their commitment to breaking the cycle of debt and unlocking economic mobility, as well as their incredible 2024 achievements—serving over 1 million loans and saving customers a total of $167 million.

Overview and Goal:

I crafted all aspects of this project—including design, concept development, and motion design—by closely researching Possible Finance’s brand. My goal was to create social content examples that emphasized and built upon the strong, authentic brand style that Possible already fosters.

Creative Steps:
  • Company and Brand Research

  • Concept Design and Storyboards - Program used: Procreate

  • Brief Scripting

  • Design - Programs used: Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop

  • Motion Design - Programs used: Adobe After Effects

    • Audio

    • JavaScript expression-based animation

    • Particle simulations

    • Kinetic typography

* Creative Note: For this project, I recreated key brand elements, including a vector version of the Possible logo and supporting brand icons such as the arrow graphic. Select assets—such as the customer photo, the Extra Credit notepad, and the Possible Card—were sourced directly from Possible’s website and thoughtfully incorporated into the videos with slight modifications to maintain consistency with their brand voice and visual style.

Behind-the-scenes:

Here are a few behind-the-scenes snippets.

A custom particle simulation was created to add energy to the opening scene of the demo reel.

This image was slightly modified in Photoshop to create a parallax effect in After Effects.

2D images of the Possible Card were mapped onto a 3D object to create a dynamic, three-dimensional effect.
